Us

We’re StormBrands and we never settle. Not when we’re searching for our next perfect partner brand challenge and not when we’re looking to add to our top talent team. These days, we reckon it takes an uncommon kind of creative energy to help brands make their mark and find their voice. Have you got the problem solving, go-getting, making-it-happen nature we’re looking for?

You

As a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator, you are a proactive do-er, creative problem solver, keep-everything-on-track-er, with a passion for creativity, storytelling and design. You’ll thrive off organisation, both in your own day to day activities and organising teams and workstreams.

You will enjoy a mix of working autonomously, and working as part of a team. You’ll be able to coordinate and communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally. You’ll understand the importance of how brands speak to the world, and have the ability to execute this in business communications.

Ideally, you’ll also have a creative design background with basic design skills and a project planning mindset. Experience in digital marketing, web design or social media is also favourable, but not essential.

You’ll be responsible for

  • The management and coordination of all external STORMBRANDS content, including:

Social media platforms – Planning and reviewing the content schedule on a regular basis; identifying opportunities for new and relevant content; creative development of content (both visual and verbal); coordination of content in line with other external activity; regular communication of content plan with key senior stakeholders

PR and content generation – Collaboration with and management of third parties to strategically plan our approach to press content creation, aligned to ongoing agency activities, work launches, and existing projects; internal stakeholder management and coordination across both the senior teams for final approval, and the working teams for content creation in line with client work release dates; ensuring overall joined-up-ness of internal and external activity; managing the end to end process of entering awards, including creative development of visual and verbal content

Website – working alongside the creative team to explore opportunities for website improvement (experience/understanding with website build and management is preferred); continuous tracking of metrics and performance indicators, including SEO performance

Collaboration with third parties – to raise the profile of the agency both with prospective clients and possible employees; managing our internal activity with all external partners and aligning with any external facing content

Content creation and planning – planning and mapping the overall agency content calendar, and where required, creating content using supplied assets (for example social media posts, case studies, new business decks). This will require some basic design skills and an understanding of how to apply brand assets in a consistent way

  • Tracking and coordination of all prospective opportunities and conversations, including:

Definition and leadership of our end to end new business process

All aspects of new business, including co-ordinating internal and external meetings, ensuring a timely and effective response, briefing and planning development of presentations and proposals

Management and coordination of case studies and credentials to support new conversations

Collaboration and management of our new business partners

Tracking and management of all new business activity, and coordination of internal stakeholders

Ongoing and regular input with all internal agency teams to find new opportunities for sharing insights and starting new conversations

  • Being proactive – suggesting new processes, new ways of working, and new ideas to raise the overall profile of the agency and support all marketing, PR and new business activity. Overall, being a real do-er, and thriving off getting your head down and getting-things-done

What you don’t have to have

  • Years of big agency experience – we’re looking for a self-motivated starter
  • All the answers – we’ll give you all the support you need

What you'll get from us

  • A competitive salary
  • Private healthcare
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday and your birthday off, with an additional days holiday following every full years service (to a maximum of 4 days)
  • 1 x long weekend each month (early finish Friday)
  • Training and development support
  • Monthly employee ‘A-Star’ awards
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Financial advice and planning with an external partner
  • Agile working (2 days per week in studio)
