When GHD, a technical professional services company, tasked us with creating a compelling, consistent global brand, it soon became clear that the job was much more than a logo refresh. They needed a strategic partner to develop a complete brand architecture for their complex network of businesses.

Everything we created was built on a new brand purpose: ‘The Power of Commitment’. This was born from the simple truth of GHD being an employee-owned business: when you’ve got skin in the game, it matters more. This authentic and powerful differentiator informed our ‘One GHD’ approach which changed everything, and included: a bold new design system, a bespoke typeface, a more engaging tone of voice and a set of glyphs that turned technical info into dynamic communications.

Re-energised, inside and out

By creating a dynamic and progressive new look and feel, we completely re-energised GHD’s brand. This provided an exciting new platform for internal and external communication, creating brand champions, eager to roll it out. The end result is a strong and consistent hierarchy that unites all of GHD’s existing brands and sets them up perfectly for all future acquisitions.
